Homemade Crunchwrap Supreme

Our Sundays are CRAZY! My husband and I go to my parents’ every Sunday afternoon for lunch. We have a lunch rotation in place, to relieve my mom of all the cooking. About two months ago, we did a church plant in Philipsburg, PA…so our lunchtime has been shortened! We have had to come up with some quick meals! After we are all assembled at the house, we are left with about forty min to eat and get out the door to head to the next service. This week was my week and I made something I’ve been wanting to try for a long time! Crunchwrap Supremes! They are so quick and easy, and the only thing I did ahead of time, was brown the hamburger on Saturday night. I put the hamburger, water, and seasoning in the crockpot the next morning (on low). The meat was hot and seasoned by the time church was dismissed. All that was left to do is assemble and fry them up on each side for about two minutes. Pictured below are ingredients and how to assemble them: 12” soft tortilla wrap, sour cream, taco meat, nacho chips (you can use regular corn chips or hard shell taco), tomatoes, shredded cheese, nacho cheese, and lettuce. (In that order)

Next, you’re going to wrap them up! Below is how to fold them!                                                                                   *Tip! Make sure the Doritos edges are broke off or turned so they don’t poke through when you wrap them up! Ok, next your going to use a frying pan to fry them up in about 2 tablespoons of oil! Lay them with the folds down first and then flip them over, so you seal the edges. Frying them is going to seal them up and make them crispy enough to pick up and eat without falling apart. (You don’t fry them long enough to wilt the lettuce, so don’t worry about that!?)  I have to give the frying credit to my husband! That was his part!                                        These are my new favorite to replace the traditional taco! They have a few extra ingredients but so yummy and easy to handle while eating! Please do yourself and your family a favor…skip the trip to Taco Bell and make them at home!? Enjoy!
